This is my now page, which outlines what I’m focused on at this point in my life. This was last updated on 11/13/2020.
I am:
- – a first-time father to a wonderful baby girl
- – a photographer for my wife’s social media campaigns
- – helping build apparel brands for influencers and professional gamers as Creative Director of SuperCulture.io
- – building the brands UMO Style, Dobu Supply and Shoshin Workshop
- – learning 3D rendering / graphic design in support of my brand building efforts
I am learning to be the best father I can possibly be. My brief studies have compelled me into a “reference book” style of parenting. I will embody all the principles I’d like my daughter to learn. For example, if I expect her to love to read, then I need to visibly read in front of her. Beyond my expectations, I will serve as a “reference book” for her unique interests and goals.
I execute on the creative needs of team @iamkareno. I am the lead photographer / videographer for all content on @iamkareno. This includes building each set, lighting each set, coordinating with our management team regarding campaign deliverables and creative direction alongside Karen’s vision. This is my “day job” and how we earn our financial stability as a family.
I am learning as much as I can about owning and operating an apparel brand. Streetwear has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I cherished my first The Hundreds shirt, spending my first paycheck from Toys R Us to elevate my wardrobe. Since then, I’ve been seeking to deliver that feeling of joy and creativity to others in my own work.
I first started learning shirt production in 2018. Since then, I’ve learned about basic sewing, basic pattern-making, fulfilling orders, international supply chain logistics, producing a lookbook editorial photoshoot and producing graphics for marketing collateral.
My goal is to understand all aspects of apparel production and brand management. If I cannot do the task myself, the goal is to be conversational with a specialist who can execute.
